S. P. Clemons, Sr., Greeleyville, Dies
Kingstree, March 17-Samuel Patrick Clemons, Sr., 82, died Friday morning at his home in Greeleyville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning at Greeleyville Methodist Church, interment following in New Market Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Patrick Clemons and his wife, Dorothy Connor Clemons.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ella Brasington Clemons; two sons and three daughters as follows: Samuel Patrick Clemons, Jr. of Columbia, R. B. Clemons, Mrs. L. A. Rogerson of Andrews, Mrs. E. M. Godwin of Greeleyville and Mrs. E. J. Garner of Spartanburg; 27 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
