FABIAN THOMAS DUGIE, SR., 71, passed away on March 8, 2012 in Morse, Louisiana. Fabian was born on March 9, 1940 in San Antonio to parents, Tom and Ellie (Olanie) Dugie. He married Carolyn Williams on April 16, 1962. They lived in the Alvin/Manvel area for thirty years until recently moving to Louisiana. Fabian was a dedicated and hard worker and worked for Affiliated Rice for twenty-two years. His favorite pastime was fishing. His greatest love, though, was taking care of and spending time with his family. Fabian was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Nellie Dugie; his father and mother-in-law, Elton and Marie Williams; and his brother-in-law, Jimmy Povlasky.
Left to remember him are his family that include his wife, Carolyn Dugie of Morse, Louisiana; children: Margaret Ray and Renee Roberts of Alvin, Virginia and T.J. Shawback Morse, Louisiana, Patty and David Coleman of Manvel, Debbie and Tommy Roberts of Lafayette, Louisiana, Fabian Dugie, Jr. and Jessica of Manvel, and Deanna Dugie and Chris Precord of Seguin; brothers and sisters: Christine and Norman Lyng of Pearland, Mary Pavlosky of Sweeny, Agnes and Clinton Davidson of Pearland, Lucille and Richard Grant of Deer Park, Cleo and Ruby Dugie of Pearland, and Benny and Leslie Dugie of Pasadena; twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 12, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Froberg Chapel.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Froberg Chapel with Elton Williams officiating. Interment followed at South Park Cemetery.
