Jun 14, 2004. I was born in East Chicago, Indiana. I moved to GA in 1994. My father was from Independence, MO & mother from Barnardsville(Asheville), NC. My great grandmother(MO) kept great family notes(she had 15 children)and wrote her own family book, which my great aunt updates ever year now, she is the last one living out of the 15(she passed Jul 2018). My dad was into genealogy & I became interested when my great-grandmother sent me a copy of her family history book in 1986. Back then, of course, inquiries were done by snell-mail. My biggest family searches are;...in MO are Long, Willoughby, Newland, Wilson, & Oshel...… in NC, particularly Buncombe Co., all family connections of Rice's, Whittemore's, Ramsey, Hurst, & Woodard.... in Carter Co., TN is Berry, Clark, Taylor, & McKinney...
I get excited when I find a new link in my family lines, so I also 'enjoy helping others find theirs'.
I appreciate any comments, corrections, additions, & requests. Plz be nice about it. We are all just volunteers to this site. It's not about numbers for me. (**EVERYONE makes mistakes**).*most of my memorials are my own family, so a possible transfer is not likely.*
a memorial of someone who died over 70 yrs ago is probably out of FAG guideline of family transfers. Thank you
