Bio
My interest in genealogy began in the 7th grade when my history teacher offered us an extra credit opportunity of charting our family tree. Consequently, I had the opportunity to interview all my older relatives(except for 1 grandfather) and, later, those of my husband. That gave me a good starting point. For decades I collected information and photographs. After I retired from teaching, I began in earnest the "how to" of research in genealogy. Now it is a consuming passion.
My immigrant ancestors landed in New Amsterdam and New England. I live in the Midwest.
