I have lived in Michigan and the Detroit area my whole life. Researching my family tree was kind of a side hobby since I was a child and it wasn't until a couple of years ago that I really started getting into it.
My family (both mother and father) have branches that reach across the U.S. The Hall and Johnson side coming from the Quad Cities; and the Fleischer and Hahn side from Albion, MI and Detroit. Currently I still have family in these areas as well as California, the west coast, etc.
Ancestry.com has been a great help as has Find A Grave.
If anyone thinks we may be related I look forward to hearing from you.
