Bio
So, unlike many of the contributors here, I don't really go out and visit cemeteries. Instead, I do a lot of digital research while trying to piece together my ancestry.
While it may not be the same as visiting sites and searching through the physical files, I get a lot of the same information through hours examining digitally scanned files and contribute with edits to help fill in the blanks - only after thorough research. If I'm not confident, I don't submit an edit but may send a suggestion (which is that - just a suggestion).
While working on my quite large and ever-growing family tree, I'm trying to connect as many dots as possible and help others to avoid some of the same false paths I have taken. Everybody that I submit information on is somehow related to me, either by birth or marriage and in a few instances, it has been discovered to be by adoption.
If my edits seem to be too many for some contributors, a polite nudge would suffice vs a public scolding. I'm just trying to help with everyone having access to as much accurate, complete information as possible. Sometimes just a birth and death year doesn't quite tell the story.
