Primarily an African-American cemetery. This neglected cemetery is located on the east side of Chicago Road (South Park Avenue) at about Eleanor Street (approximately 175th Street). Mount Forest Cemetery association was incorporated on December 11, 1909 and was dissolved May 22, 1939. Part of the cemetery is a potter's field where many early 1900's influenza victims were buried.
