Saint John the Baptist was a cemetery for the indigent who were members of the Episcopal Church. It was located on the grounds of the County Hospital in Oak Forest, Bremen Township, Cook County, Illinois. It was one of three sectarian cemeteries there along with Saint Gabriel Catholic Cemetery and Ebenezer Lutheran Cemetery. These three, along with the Oak Forest Hospital Cemetery were the last resting places for many Cook County residents who had not the funds or family for a burial elsewhere. The records for Saint John's cover the years 1941 to 1959. Some death records give cemetery name as just "Episcopal."
