Teckla Cecilia Jacobs of Lakewood, a retired baker, died April 13. She was 74.

A mass of Christian burial was April 17 at the Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary.

She was born July 20, 1921, in Pfeifer, Kan. On Sept. 11, 1940, she married Ralph R. Jacobs.

Mrs. Jacobs worked at Safeway Bakeries for 25 years and specialized in cake decorating. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene's Altar and Rosary Society, St. Dominic's PTA and the Bakery and Confectionery Union.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Ralph, Wheat Ridge, and Ed, Lakewood; three daughters, Connie Martinson, Lakewood, Judy Steen, Littleton, and Marilyn Jacobs, Wheat Ridge; 11

grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
