Funeral services for Alvin R. Roth, 57, 2309 Timber Drive, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Roth died Tuesday after being critically burned in an explosion and fire near Pfeifer on August 5th. He was a realtor.

The parish wake service will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at Brock's North Hill Chapel. Friends may call at the chapel form 1 until 9 p.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Surviving are his wife, Marcella, of the home; one son, Lloyd, Oklahoma City, Okla.; three daughters, Mrs. Gabriel (Cynthia) Buser, Jefferson City, Mo., Mrs. James (Belinda) Staab, Hays, Mrs. Allen (Melea) Kraemer, Hays; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Linus and Celestine, both of Hays; eight sisters, Mrs. Herbert Rohleder of Washington, Mrs. Ed Wellbrock, Victoria, Mrs. Ralph Jacobs, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Ed Harris of Texas, Mrs. Marcellus Leiker, Mrs. Ralph Stecklein, Mrs. Patricia Pfannenstiel and Mrs. Edgar Basgall, all of Hays.

One son, his parents, one sister, and one brother preceded him in death.

The Daughters of Isabella rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Roth was a member of the Schoenchen Knights of Columbus which will have a rosary at 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Both are at the funeral chapel.
