Louise A. Board, 82, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Kankakee, died Oct. 7, 2011, at Mountainview Hospital in Las Vegas.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Kankakee Memorial Gardens, Aroma Township.
Local arrangements are by the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais.
Mrs. Board, along with her husband, ran Board Machine Inc. in Kankakee.
She was born Dec. 16, 1928, in Chicago, the daughter of Charles T. and Anna Delaney Myrick Barksdale. Her husband, Theodore Board, is deceased.
Surviving is three grandchildren; one brother, Charles Barksdale, of Fort Pierce, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Marcella Jirus, Lorraine Tucker, and Bonnie Berry.
