Bernice (Bonnie) Berry, 62, Atlanta, Ill., formerly of Olney, died at 8:25 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 1988, in Springfield Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Berry was born in Chicago on July 10 , 1926, the son of Charles and Anna (Myrick) Barksdale.
She married Richard T. Berry on Oct. 23, 1954, in Springfield, Tenn. and he survives.
She was a retired factory worker.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son David Tatro of Decatur; one step-daughter, Pam Carter of Olney; one brother. Charles Barksdale, Ft. Pierce, Fla.: three sisters, Mrs. George (Loraine) Tucker, Maybank, Texas; Marcella Jirus, Cornell; Mrs. Theodore (Louise) Board, Kankakee; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by her parents and one infant sister.
