Zajac, Agnes A. 94 of Gallitzin died December 4, 2012 at Altoona Hospital. Born January 21, 1918 in Gallitzin the daughter of the late Michael and Susan (Sajnoski) Pigza. Preceded in death by her husband, Ted on February, 18, 2001, sisters, Mary Zeanchock, Veronica Jerosky and Margaret Marnecheck, brothers, Michael, George, John, Andrew and Joseph. Survived by sons: Ralph married to Elaine Gavlak – Portage; Ted married to Stephanie Dawson – Dallas, TX
grandchildren, Ralph Jr.,- Worcester, MA, Michael- Chevy Chase, MD, Anne married to Matthew Stich, Bellwood, Courtney and Trevor both of Dallas, TX and a brother, Paul Pigza married to Shirley Wilk – Cleveland, OH and numerous nieces and nephews.
Former member of St. Mary’s Altar & Rosary Society. Member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 pm Monday the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal St. Mary Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Sunday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin where a vigil service will be held Sunday afternoon.
