She was born July 15, 1895, at Malden, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Marler, and was married to Mr. Burlison January 26, 1913. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in January 1973.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the First Baptist Church at Wardell with the Rev. Darrell Jauch of Bonne Terre and Rev. Elvan Hensley officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett with Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home of Wardell in charge.
She leaves her husband of the home; two sons, Woodrow W. Burlison of Wardell and Rep. Bill Burlison of Cape Girardeau; a brother, W.Q. Marler, of Wappappello; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
