Helen "Zurell" Zuraviell, 85, of Homer, died Friday, Sept. 27, 1991, at home after a long illness.

Mrs. Zuraviell was born to Dennis and Paraska Crudenchko July 26, 1906 in Kolodesto, Russia.

She married Mefodi "Mike" Zuraviell May 1929 in Warsaw, Poland. He died Aug. 2, 1958.

She came to America in the early 1930s. She worked for the Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn and later worked with her husband at Zurell's Grocery in Albion. After her retirement from the store, she was a homemaker.

Survigin are daughters, Nellie Hagan of Grayling; Irene Zuraviell of Homer; a granddaughter; and a sister, Anna Lesok of Russia.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Albion Chapel of Tidd-Williams Funeral Chapels, Inc.

Services: 11 a.m. Momday[sic] at Riverside Cemetery, Albion. The Rev. J.W. Northcutt officiating.
