Born in 1801, she was eventually married in St. Breock on the 5th April 1845. She was about 44 years old at the time. Her husband was Richard Fradd aged 45 described as a 'yeoman' who had lost his first wife, Elizabeth (Betty), on the 9th May of the previous year. He had been left with five children – all sons – with ages ranging between 2 to 19. Three other children had died in infancy.
Betsy died at Tredanick, a farm on the south east outskirts of Egloshayle, on the 28th December 1860, aged 59.
