Sarah Wainwright is the first wife of Jacob Perkins. They were married about 1667. Their children are: John, two daughters named Phillipa (spelled Phillip on birth records), Francis, Wesley, Sarah, Mehitable (spelled Mehitabell on birth record), Mary and Elizabeth. The will of Francis Wainwright, dated 8 Apr 1692, at Ipswich, Essex County provided the following: "And as to the Children of my Daughter Sarah Pirkins Deceased their Mother having allready had a considerable portion for which Reason I doe only Give unto my GrandSon Francis Pirrkins that Four pounds which is duew to me from my Son in Law Jacob Pirkins for disbursments on his House, wch he profifed to Give me his bill for the payment, I will that He be paid by my said Son Pirkins to his said Son Francis Pirkins in Current pay when he Shall come to ye Age of Twenty & One Yeares or at day of Marriage, And alsoe I give unto my Son in Law Jacob Pirkins the Whole of what Rent is dew to me for the Land I purchafed of Nathaniell Wells"
