Mrs. Julia Vanier Sherrard died at her home, 55 Lancaster Street, Cohoes, after a long illness. She had lived in Cohoes all her life. She is survived by her husband, Frederick Sherrard; a son, Francis Sherrard of Cohoes; two daughters, Mrs. Albert Uncein of Maracaibo, Venezuela, and Mrs. Mildred Lamb deGutierrez of Lima, Peru, and three grandchildren.
The funeral of Mrs. Julia Sherrard was held from the residence, 55 Lancaster Street, Cohoes, and then from St. Joseph's Church, where a solemn requiem mass was celebrated by Rev. Leo H. Paradis, assistant pastor. The bearers, all nephews, were Edward and Donald Delude, William and Allen Vanier and Jack and Francis Lamb.
