Donald Kenneth DeLude, 80, of Stillwater, formerly of Latham, was son of the late William and Edith Vanier DeLude. He was the husband of the late Merle Huggard DeLude. He worked for the NYS Dept. of OGS for five years as a locksmith, retiring in 1983 and previously worked for NYS Tax and Finance for 15 years. He was a staff sergeant in the US Army during WW II, serving in the Pacific Theater. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star. He was a Stillwater resident for the last 20 years and previously of Latham for 10 years. He was a communicant of St. Peter & St. Paul Church in Mechanicville. He was a member of the American Legion in Mechanicville, the VFW Post in Stillwater, the Fish House Rod and Gun Club in Sacandaga. He enjoyed carpentry and woodworking and formerly worked as a carpenter at St. Agnes Church in Cohoes. He was the father of four; one brother, Edward DeLude of Fern Park, FL. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
