William DeLude a former resident of Cohoes, died Monday night at his home, 29 Forest Ave. Chicago Heights, Ill., after a long illness. A retired carpenter, Mr. DeLude was a member of Troy Local of the Carpenters Union and a lifelong resident of Cohoes until 10 years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary DeLude; two sons, Edward DeLude of Cohoes and Donald DeLude of Latham; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Croteau of Worcester, Mass., and Mrs. James O’Brien of Troy; two brothers, Alcide DeLude and Rudolph DeLude of Cohoes; and 12 grandchildren.

The funeral will be Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the A. G. Boivin’s Sons Funeral Home, 70 Congress St., Cohoes, and at 9 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Church where a Solemn Requiem Mass will be offered. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.
