Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p. m. in the Jay Chapel for Mrs. Bessie Snyder, 84, who died in a Fresno hospital Monday evening after a long illness.
Burial will be in Belmont Memorial Park in Fresno.
Mrs. Snyder was born in Bodie and lived in Hildreth and O’Neals, where her late husband, Frank, operated a store.
They moved to Madera 58 years ago. She was a member of the Native Daughters of the Golden West and the Neighbors of Woodcraft.
Mrs. Snyder is survived by a son, Carl C. Snyder, of Madera; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Lee and Mrs. Norma Trobee of Fresno; six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Bill Ryan of O’Neals, and five sisters, Mrs. Emily Jones and Mrs. Myra Hotchkiss of Madera, Mrs. Edith Downey of Livington, Mrs. Annie Marty of Fresno and Mrs. Elsie MeDougald of O'Neals.
