Theresa Marie Loiselle, 68, passed away Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at Dove Health Care in Chippewa Falls, Wis.
She was born Aug. 15, 1949, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Warren and Marie (Cunningham) Berkenbile. Theresa was a 1967 graduate of Bettendorf High School in Bettendorf, Iowa. She married Melvin “Topper” Thomas in 1973 in Bettendorf. They later divorced in 2001.
In the summer of 1989, Theresa and her family relocated to
Chetek, Wis. Theresa loved to go to the casino, play miniature golf in Wisconsin Dells, garden and travel. She spent many of her working years in the toy department and garden center at the Rice Lake Walmart. She also worked for ISS of Eau Claire, Wis., working in Cray, Nestle and 3M facilities. She also worked in Chippewa County at the Romeis Apartment Complex preparing meals on wheels.
Theresa was united in marriage to Jeffrey A. Loiselle in 2008 and resided in Chippewa Falls.
Theresa will be sadly missed by her husband, Jeff Loiselle, of Chippewa Falls; daughter Amanda (Chad) Godha, of Spooner; brother Glen (Bonnie) Berkenbile, of Bettendorf; and many friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, Jan. 26, at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, 644 River Drive, Bettendorf, Iowa. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
