Alistine Ingram went home to be with the Lord on November 27, 2001 at Windsong at Chambrel after a long illness. Born in Milton, FL, she had been a resident of this community since 1944. She was a member of St. Ashworth's Temple, where she served faithfully as a nurse's aide and choir member for many years. She was also a Akron Schools PTA Treasurer and was a part of East Akron Community House Block Club and Feeding the Hungry Program for many years. She served faithfully at her church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Iola Morton and Joe Wilson; adopted parents, Willand Ethel Levins; and mother-in-law, Alice Bellamy.

Alistine leaves to mourn her passing her husband of of over 56 years, Henry Ingram Sr; six children; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; special friends, Lucille Gingles and Polly Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Thursday at St, Ashworth's Temple, Elder L.C. Walker officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery.
