Singer. She was best known as the singer of the theme songs of Empresses in the Palace, Painted Skin: The Resurrection and the Mandarin version of Let It Go for the Disney movie Frozen. In 2005, she graduated from the China Conservatory of Music. In 2008, she won the Chinese Young Singer TV competition Championship. She then worked in the Naval Political Department of the Song and Dance Troupe of the People's Liberation Army. She left the troupe in 2009. After giving her first concert in 2010, she released her first album, Yao Beina. As of 2012, she has made songs for 60 TV dramas and films. In 2013, she released another album, Half of Me. In 2011, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and died in 2015.
