Actor, Film Director, Film Producer, Screenwriter, Radio Announcer. He will best be remembered for playing the role of 'Joey' in the horror film, "Friday the 13th: A New Beginning" in 1985. The film, which was directed by Danny Steinmann is the fifth in the horror anthology series about serial killer Jason Voorhees, who murders people who are associated with Camp Crystal Lake and where Jason drowned as a child. He was born as Dominick Anthony Brascia Jr. to Dominick Anthony Brascia Sr. (1920-1999), and his wife Antoinette Concetta Bellavia Brascia (1928-2003). He attended New Dorp High School in New Dorp, New York, in hopes of later pursuing an acting career. After high school, he followed his dream and went on to attend and take acting classes at different schools and other institutes. He later made his film debut in the role of 'Glenn' in the teen comedy "They're Playing With Fire" in 1984. Besides, "They're Playing With Fire" (1984), and "Friday The 13: A New Beginning" (1985), his other film credits include, "Once Bitten" (1985), "Iron Eagle" (1986), "Fire With Fire" (1986), "Evil Laugh" (1986), "Rush Week" (1988), "Doin' Time On Planet Earth" (1988), "She's Out Of Control" (1989), "Last Resort" (1994), "Busted" (1997), and "My Life As A Troll" (2001). His television credits include, "Otherworld," "Amazing Stories," "Hollywood Beat," "Knight Rider," "Tall Tales & Legends," and "Night Court." Besides an actor, he was also a talented screenwriter, film director, and film producer, often working on his own projects. He later worked as a radio announcer for AM 1150 KNRC Denver in Denver, Colorado in 2003, Morning radio personality for Fox Morning Blend in Beaumont, Texas, Afternoon radio talk show host at WERC 960AM in Birmingham, Alabama, and Co-Producer of "The Armstrong And Getty Show" at 650 KSTE in Sacramento, California in 2012. He was also the host of the talk show, "Talk About A Movie" in 2014. In 2017, he gained national headlines when he and the chief content officer Dylan Howard for the "National Enquirer" magazine were named in a defamation suit by Charlie Sheen over a rape allegation involving the late actor Corey Haim. He lastly was the host of the radio show "Dominick In The Morning" at KMMS 1450 in Bozeman, Montana, in 2018.
