Geraldine Annette Ide Hadley of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023 at Cedargate Nursing Home. She was born in Jackson, Michigan, Feb. 6, 1972, to Mary and Gerald Ide. She married William Hadley Dec. 19, 1990. The Lord blessed them with three sons: David Lee Hadley of Farmington, Missouri, Phillip Benjamin Hadley and Kenneth Michael Hadley of Poplar Bluff.

Geri was a CNA and had worked in Poplar Bluff nursing facilities, as well as the local hospital. Many of her colleagues claimed, "She is the best CNA in Poplar Bluff". Geri was a member of Altrusa International of Poplar Bluff where she held the office of treasurer.

Geri is survived by her sons; brothers, Ronald Ide of Jackson, Michigan and Roger Petty of Poplar Bluff; several aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as sisters-in-law, Susan Stephenson of Lebanon, Missouri and Sharon Harter of Springfield, Missouri; in-laws, Mel and Kathy Hadley of Poplar Bluff and her friend, Michelle Muirhead, who helped care for her during her illness. Geri's husband and parents preceded her in death.
