MEHERRIN, August 8 - Richard Lee "Dick" Clark, 69, died Sunday, August 6, 2006 at his home in Meherrin with his family by his side.
Mr. Clark was a very devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. He was well respected and well known in the engineering field and a pillar in the engineering society.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Betty, an infant daughter, Stacey Lynn and his parents, Hester and Lillian Clark.
He is survived by two sons, Larney and his wife, Louise and Lee and his wife. Angie; a daughter, Lori and her husband, Jack Cawthorn and Jack's daughter, Trista; four grandsons. Josh, Miles, Hunter and Hayden. He also leaves behind two brothers and two sisters, Roy and his wife, Barbara, Dwight, Jean and her husband, Dave Partin, Susan and her husband, Cliff Coryell and their families; a special uncle, Dudley Clark; devoted niece, Tammi Shelton; and nephew.
