Anton Gerstner, 63, Succumbs Sunday
Anton Gerstner, late of 441 East Weidman Street, passed away yesterday noon at home of complications resulting from an illness of five months. The deceased was 63 years old and was an employee at the Bethlehem Steel Company. He was a member of St. Gertrude's Church and its beneficial society.
Surviving are his wife, Julianna; sons, Peter and Joseph of Lebanon, Anthony, Route 1, Annville; Sergeant John, U.S. Army, stationed at Waco, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. George Newmaster of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph, of Michigan, and Frank, of St. Louis, Mo., and one sister, Mrs. Katie Imhoff of Clifton, N.J.

The remains of Anton Gerstner were buried today in St. Gertrude's cemetery, following services from the residence at 441 East Weidman Street and a requiem high mass celebrated at St. Gertrude's Church at 9:45 a.m. by Rev. Philip Liebich.
Bearers were Michael Winter, Walter Gingrich, George Bracarich, John Schirato, Sebastian Dilger and Carl Debitz (sic: Devitz).
Thompsons was in charge of funeral arrangements.
