Mrs. Martin was born in Mobile and had been a resident of the community since 1953. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pascagoula and was a retired business manager of Chipley Realty. She was a charter member of the Ladies Elks Auxiliary Lodge No. 1120 in Pascagoula and a charter member of the Knights of Columbus counsel No. 1605 Auxiliary. She was a past carnival ball queen of Krewe of Tri-Cities, Elks (NU)1120 and Knights of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and a sister.
Survivors include her husband, Julius H. Martin of Pascagoula.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula with recitation of the rosary at 7:30 p.m. A service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pascagoula with burial in Machpelah Cemetery.
