WAPAKONETA - Mrs. Christena Thrush, 91, of Rt. 1, St. Johns, died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Indian Lake Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Born April 8, 1875, in Clay Township, she was a daughter of Phillip and Sarah Rinehart. She was married May 26, 1985, to Byron R. Thrush, who died in 1934.
Surviving are two sons, Willis and Herman, both of Rt. 1, St. Johns; one daughter, Mrs. Otis Kiser of Rt. 4, Wapakoneta; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Lotz of Rt. 4, Kenton; six grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Siferd Funeral Home, Rev. Harold Mowrey officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
