Born in Dickinson Center, July 9, 1883, she was a daughter of Andrew and Lucy Jessmer Ploof. Miss Ploof is survived by four brothers, Douglas Ploof, Winthrop; Benjamin Ploof, Massena; Mahlon and Arthur Ploof, Dickinson Center; five sisters, Mrs. Gordon (Rachel) Niles, Nicholville; Mrs. Andrew (Delia) MacMillan, Norwood; Mrs. Charles (Elizabeth) Carroll, Fredericksburg, Md.; Mrs. John (Carrie) Emlaw, Alburg and Mrs. Jay (Emma) Smith, Old Forge. Other survivors are many nieces and nephews, those in this immediate vicinity including Mrs. (Theodora) Rose, Betty Ploof and Gary Ploof, Winthrop, the latter now stationed in Guam and Douglas of Brasher Falls.
Interment was made in St. Ann's Cemetery.
