Maurice Ducey, 89, retired B. and O. blacksmith, died at midnight Sunday in his home, 809 W. Wayne-st. He had been ill two days. Ducey was born in Ireland but had lived in Lima 60 years. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic church.
He leaves three daughters, Miss Elizabeth and Miss Anna Ducey, both of Lima; Mrs. Margaret Welsh, of Houston, Tex.; a son, Maurice R. Ducey, of Houston, and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Welsh.
Mass will be sung at 8:45 a.m. Thursday at St. Rose. Burial will be in Gethsemani cemetery. The body will be taken from the Cantwell funeral home to the residence Monday afternoon.
