Mrs. Kies Passes
Away Wednesday
Following Illness
Random Lake, Wis. — Mrs. Mar-
garet Kies, nee Geib, aged 77,
passed away at 12 o'clock noon
Wednesday at her home in this
village, after an illness of several
weeks.
Deceased was born in July,
1863[sic], in Europe, and when a child
came to this country with her
parents, who settled on a farm in
Sheboygan county. After her mar-
riage to Peter Kies, the couple
lived on a farm two miles north
of Random Lake until 1915, when
they retired and moved to this
village. Mr. Kies passed away 11
years ago.
Survivors are one daughter,
Mrs. Albert Fritsche of Sheboy-
gan; five sons, John and Charles
of Random Lake, Walter of Mil-
waukee, Math. of West Bend and
Lawrence of Janesville; seven
grandchildren, and two brothers,
Peter Geib of Milwaukee and
Math. Geib of Boltonville.
Funeral services will be held at
8:45 a. m. Saturday at the D. G.
Wilk Funeral home and at 9 a.
m. at St. Mary's church here,
with interment in the church
cemetery. The Rev. R. Knauer
will officiate.
The body may be viewed at the
Wilk Funeral home from this eve-
ning until the time of services.
