Mrs. Leona Mae Jasper, daughter of John Miller and Mary Seymour Hutchison, was born in Waverly, Ill., April 9, 1866, and died Tuesday, June 11, 1946, at the Eastern Star Sanitarium in Macon, Ill.
She was married to Alfred Henry White on July 2, 1883. To this union one daughter was born.
On February 29, 1906, she was married to Henry Jasper in St. Louis. He preceded her in death.
For the past eleven years she has resided at the Eastern Star home.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Edgar N. Austin, her grandson, Harold Austin, both of Peoria; her sister, Mrs. Clara Peet, and her brother, John O. Hutchison, both of St. Louis.
Her father, mother, four sisters, Mrs. Jane Church, Mrs. Margaret Moulton, Mrs. Julia Harris, Mrs. Kate Reinbach, and one grandson, John Edgar Austin, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, at the Methodist church in Waverly, Rev. Francis E. Smith, the pastor, officiating.
Burial was in East cemetery.
