Luella Elizabeth Bedwell, age 92 of Marinette, Wisconsin, passed away August 6, 2013 at Bay Area Medical Center, Marinette. She was born on Nov. 2, 1920 to Martin and Frances (Seiler) Armbrust in Wheaton, IL. The family moved to Menominee, Michigan where she graduated from Menominee High School in 1938.
She married Alfred G. Bedwell, Sr. on Dec. 1, 1945 at St. Mary's Church in Peshtigo, WI; he preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 1998.
Luella was a member of Holy Family Parish. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and baking. The past 15 years, Luella enjoyed the community at Ludington apartments.
Luella is survived by three sons: Alfred (Lydia) of Porterfield, WI; Stephen and Thomas (Jill), both of Peshtigo, WI;
two daughters: Sandra (John) Davis and Susan (John) Bournonville, both of Menominee, MI;
sisters: Agnes Parnis of Green Bay, WI and Angeline Lackey of Calumet, MI;
17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Mary, seven sisters and four brothers.
Visitation at Thielen Funeral Home with funeral services at Holy Family Parish-Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Entombment in the Forest Home Mausoleum.
