"MRS. A.H. WERNER
Mrs. A.H. Werner, 47, wife of the pastor of St. John Lutheran church, town of Center, died at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon after a long illness.
She was born April 30, 1896, in the town of Decatur, Green county, Wis., and lived in the town of Center since 1920.
Survivors are the widower; three daughters, Sergeant Ruth Werner, who is with the Wacs at Aberdeen, Md., Dorothy, Milwaukee, and Naomi, Appleton; three sons, the Rev. Frederick Werner, Centuria, Wis., Lieutenant Arthur Werner, El Centro, Calif., and Private Paul Werner, Camp Hulen, Texas; three brothers, Frank, Albert, and Harry Krause, Brodhead; and two sisters, Mrs. John Brandt and Mrs. Alfred Rhyner, Brodhead.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at St. John Lutheran church, town of Center, with the Rev. W.E. Pankow, New London, in charge. Burial will be in Highland Memorial park. The body may be viewed from 10 o'clock Tuesday morning until 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Wichmann Funeral home. After that it may be viewed at the church until the time of the services."
