Howard Lee Webb, age 69 of Muskogee, OK, was born May 14, 1939 in Elm Grove, OK to Rife and Gertie (Murry) Webb. He passed from this life Saturday, February 21, 2009 in Tulsa OK. Howard married Lavona Dice on May 6, 1961 at First Assembly of God Church in Haskell, OK and they have sense made their home in Muskogee. Howard was a construction operator, and an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed spending his time camping, hunting, trapping, fishing, and eating fish, and especially gardening. He has been described as a cattleman, bee keeper, and a person that truly loved helping anyone that needed it regardless of the task at hand. Howard was known to travel the neighborhood on his tractor and rake all the neighbors' gardens for them. He loved his children and grand children and will always be remembered as a loving Husband, Father, and Papa. Howard is survived by his wife of 47 years, four children, Lynette Webb of Porter, David Webb of Porter, Verletta Eller and husband Garry of Oktaha, and Brad Webb and wife Cleta of Porter, four sisters, Lois Clymer and husband Nathaniel of Elm Grove, Gay Bannon of Elm Grove, Sherry Jones and husband Jerry of Almo, KY, Beverly Morgan and husband Darrell of Elm Grove, a sister in-law, Betty Webb, a brother-in-law, Paul Stewart, an uncle Buddy, and aunt Lucille, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Donald of Ft. Gibson, Marcellus of Mayfield, KY, sister, Jeanie, brother-in-law, David, and a sister-in law Evelyn. A celebration of the life of Howard will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at First Assembly of God in Muskogee with Brother Denver Callahan officiating. Interment will follow at Agnew Cemetery. The family has entrusted Bradley Family Funeral Service of Muskogee with the arrangements.
