They had at least three children, including Nettie May, Nellie, and Odell Ira John Thomas. The Thomas family was living in Angelina County, Texas, according to the 1900 US Census. Ira died, 10 April 1948, aged 78, in Conroe, Texas, and was buried at New Bethlehem Cemetery in Cut and Shoot, Texas."
