Mary A. Meyer, daughter of August Meyer, was born at St Nazianz, August 20,1893, where she spent her life until she was married to John Buhl on November 26,1915.
They moved to Chilton town and located on the farm formerly owned by Jos. Winniger. She was an industrious woman and assisted her husband on the farm in every possible way, in order to win success. She was highly esteemed in her old home and also by those whose acquaintance she made since coming here to reside. She was a devout member of the Catholic Church and took an active interest in all church work. Her death is a hard blow to the young husband who had but recently started out for himself and he has the sympathy of the entire community in his sad hour of mourning.
The funeral was held this Friday morning from St. Mary's church, Rev. Fr. L.N. Thelen officiating at Requiem Mass, with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
