Elizabeth R. Cook 66,of Glens Falls,passed away Monday,July 19,1999,at Glens Falls Hospital.
Mrs.Cook was born June 23,1933,in South Glens Falls,the daughter of Fredrick and Florence
(corlew) Whiting.
She enjoyed country and western music,doing puzzles and going for rides in the automoble.
Five sisters predeceased Mrs. Cook;Doris Ballard,Joyce Smith,Agnes Baker,Mary Myres,and Carol Whiting,
along with one brother,Raymond Whiting.
Survivors include one daughter,Rose Nailor of Glens Falls;four sons,Lawrence and his wife Cynthia Cook
of Hudson Falls,Robert and his wife Barbara Cook of Glens Falls,William and his wife Chris Cook of Fort Edward
and Terry and his wife Janice Cook of Hudson Falls; 12 grandchildren,eight great-grandchildren;two sisters,
Della Palmer of Queensbury and Eleanor Ellis of Hudson Falls and five brothers, Edward Whiting of Queensbury,
Richard Whiting of Glens Falls, Donald Whiting of Fort Wayne,Ind.,Albert Whiting of Glens Falls and Fred Whiting
of Gansvoort.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. today July 21 at Singleton-Haely funeral home,407 Bay road,Queensbury.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 am. on Thursday,July 22 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Glens Falls cemetery.
