Batavia Daily News, February 20, 1962. Mrs. Ralph L. Main. Wyoming. Mrs. Helen Roeper Main, 69, of 31 South Academy Street, died Sunday, February 18, 1962 in Lee Memorial Hospital at Ft. Meyers, Fla., after a several month illness. She was the wife of Ralph L. Main. Mrs. Main was born July 29, 1892 in the town of Middlebury, a daughter of William H. and Mary Pfenninger Roeper and had been a lifelong resident of this area. The Mains maintain a Winter home in Ft. Meyers. Mrs. Main was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Susan Look Avery Club, Wyoming Grange and the Pearl Creek Community Club. Surviving, besides her husband, are three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Quinlan of LeRoy, Mrs. Emory Grisewood of Wyoming and Miss Clara Roeper of White Plains. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John B. Fooks officiating. Friends may call at the Fred G. Stripp Funeral Home from 1 p.m. Thursday to 11 a.m. Friday. Interment will be in Wyoming Cemetery
