Julia M. Gross

WATERFORD - Mrs. Julia M. (nee: Haas) Gross, 95, passed away at Mount Carmel Medical and Rehabilitation Center on Friday, November 3, 2000. She was born in Milwaukee on March 23, 1905, to Frank and Mary (nee: Scanlan) Haas. She spent her early life in Milwaukee and had been a resident of Waterford for the past 50 years. On August 5, 1924, in Milwaukee, she was united in marriage to Myron J. Gross, who preceded her in death on February 5, 1979. She received her education in Milwaukee schools. She was a Housewife and a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and Ladies Guild, the Catholic Order of Foresters-St. Catherine's Court #246, and the Third Order of St. Dominic Tertiary. Surviving are nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 8, 2000, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Edwin Kornath officiating.
