George Haas -- Funeral services for George Haas, 72, who died at his farm home on Route 2, will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Maresh funeral home and at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heat church Rev. Michael Plale will officiate, and burial will be Holy Family cemetery, Caledonia.
Mr. Haas was born in Caledonia, Aug. 13, 1866, and lived in that vicinity all his life. He was a member of Sacred Heart church and of the Holy Name society.
Survivors are his wife, Mary; five daughters, Mr. Olive Newell and Mrs. Dora Harvey of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Esther Perkins, Mrs. Lorraine Jensen and Mrs. Annette Lamers of Racine; two sons, Robert of Racine and Earl of Chicago; one brother, Frank of Milwaukee; and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Bushell and Miss Cecilia Haas of Racine as well as 17 grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home Sunday evening and until time of services Monday.
