Joseph Haas, aged 76, one of the pioneer residents of Racine and Milwaukee counties, died early this morning at his farm residence in the town of Oak Creek, Milwaukee county.
He was a native of the town of Caledonia, Racine county, but moved to a farm in Oak Creek about 50 years ago. He was married to Anastasia Vrana, who died six years ago.
Surviving are six daughters -- Mrs. Genevieve Seitz, Clementine, Mary, Catherine, Marcella and Theresa Haas and four sons, Felix, George, Albert and Leonard.
The funeral services will take place Friday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Matthew's church in Oak Creek and burial will be in the Holy Family Cemetery in Caledonia.
