The funeral for Esther Hedvig Ylitalo, 57, Wolf Lake, MN, will be at 11 today in Christ Lutheran Church, Wolf Lake. She died Saturday, May 18, 1996.
Esther Drewes was born Oct. 15, 1938, near Frazee, MN where she grew up and attended school. She married Raymond Ylitalo Oct. 30, 1954, in Frazee. She operated the Wolf Lake Cafe for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband Raymond; sons Cornell of Wolf Lake and Chris (Becky) of Bemidji; daughters LaRae Ylitalo of Clarksville, TN and Linda Marie of Robbinsdale, MN; four brothers, Delbert (Delores) and Dennis (Judy) of Frazee, Aldon of Devils Lake, ND, Kenneth (Linda) Albany, MO; four sisters, Madeline (Elmer) Yliniemi, Osage, MN, Marion (Marvin) Feldt of Frazee, Vivian Anderson, Fargo, Karen Steichen, Waubun, MN and one grandchild.
Officiating was Rev. Paul Bunkowske, organist was Paul Ramsay and the soloist was Linda Marie.
Active casketbearers were Danny Feldt, Ross Nordby, Merlin Koskela, Tim Drewes, Scott Glander and Clayton Tanney. Arrangements were by the Cardini-Behrens Funeral Home of Menahga.
Interment was at the Wolf Lake cemetery.
